The Delaware County Equalization Board met in Regular session on April 27, 2005 at 12:30 P.M. with the following members present: Dan Ransom-Chairman and Jacqueline Wright-Member, Art Shackelford-Member-was absent.  Chairman-Dan Ransom called the Meeting to order and the following business was transacted.

 

Motion was made by Dan Ransom and seconded by Jacqueline Wright to discuss property of Robert and Lolita Lemming located at Quail Run and Harbor Road in the Buffalo Shores-North Subdivision of Delaware County.  Property is valued at $164,850.00 as of this year.  This was raised from $158,000.00.  Comparable property located at 715 Lakewood Drive and owned by Bob and Janice Kry.  Mrs. Lemming stated that they have added a larger second garage built by contractor in 2003.  Property is located on a curved corner lot and is not waterfront property.  Have removed 15 trees since original purchase.  Home is 1825 Square feet and was purchased for $137,000.00.  Mrs. Lemming stated she did not think she could sell the property for $164,850.00 on the current market.  Chairman-Dan Ransom stated that they would visit the property and a decision would be rendered on 5/11/05.  Mrs. Lemming was invited to attend 5/11/05 meeting to hear decision on her property.

All voted aye. Motion carried.
