DELAWARE COUNTY SPECIAL COMMISSIONERS MEETING

April 10, 2007

The Board of County Commissioners of Delaware County, Oklahoma, met in Special Session on

April 10, 2007 at 10:10 A. M.  Agenda was posted March 30, 2007 at 12:00 P.M. on east entrance door.  This meeting was recessed at 3:30 PM on 4-10-07 and continued on 4-11-07 at 1:00PM with recess at 3:00PM.

 

Members of the Board present were Commissioner Dave Kendrick-Chairman and Commissioner Ken Crowder-Member.  Commissioner Howard Payton was absent.  Board of Delaware County Commissioners is hereby authorized to take action on the following items:

 

A motion was made by Commissioner Crowder and seconded by Commissioner Kendrick to approve of the agenda as posted.  Roll call: Commissioner Kendrick- yes, Commissioner Crowder-yes. Motion carried.

 

A motion was made by Commissioner Crowder and seconded by Commissioner Kendrick to authorized to go into executive session pursuant to Oklahoma Statutes Title 25ss307 (B)(1) to discuss the employment, hiring, appointment of any individual salaried public officer or employee, concerning interviews to be conducted with applicants for the combined position of Emergency Management Director/Flood Plain Director/Safety Director for Delaware County.  Roll call: Commissioner Kendrick - yes, Commissioner Crowder-yes. Motion carried.

 

A motion was made by Commissioner Crowder and seconded by Commissioner Kendrick to return to regular session with action taken as follows: Commissioners to meet on Wednesday, April 18th, 2007 in Commissioners meeting room Jay, OK to further interview selected interviewees at 1:00PM.    Roll call: Commissioner Kendrick - yes, Commissioner Crowder-yes. Motion carried.

There being no further business to discuss, the meeting was recessed.
