The Board of
June 14, 2007 at 10:15 A. M. at Shangri-La,
Members of the Board present were Commissioner Dave
Kendrick –Chairman and Commissioner Ken Crowder-Member. Dr. Doug Cox, member of the State House of Representatives;
Senator Charlie Wyrick; Judith Read, concerned citizen; Janet Perry, reporter
for the Miami News Record; Delaware County Assessor Leon Hurt; Delaware County
Clerk Carol Fortner; Peter Boylan, owner of Shangri-La; Tamara Hillman,
Salesperson; and Drake Leddy, Hotel Developer.
The meeting began with a presentation of a model of
the proposed development as well as a walk through of a model condo. During the meting, Mr. Boylan presented a
slide show. Mr. Leddy cited his
background and expertise as well as previously completed projects. There was a question and answer time. Mr. Kendrick asked Assessor Leon Hurt to
research the TIF process since the development hinged on
