DELAWARE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SPECIAL MEETING
April 10, 2008
The Board of County Commissioners of Delaware County, Oklahoma, met in Special Session on April 10, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. Agenda was posted April 7, 2008 at 11 A.M. on east entrance door. This meeting was recessed at 12:00 P.M.
Members of the Board present were Commissioner Ken Crowder-Chairman, Commissioner Billy Cornell-Member and Commissioner Dave Kendrick-Member. Board of Delaware County Commissioners are hereby authorized to take action on the following items:
AGENDA #1-A motion was made by Commissioner Kendrick and seconded by Commissioner Cornell to approve the agenda as posted. Roll call: Commissioner Kendrick-yes, Commissioner Crowder-yes, Commissioner Cornell-yes. Motion carried.
AGENDA #2-A motion was made by Commissioner Kendrick and seconded by Commissioner Cornell to discuss possible action implementing a security plan for the Delaware Co. Court House as follows: to contact a firm to assess the improvements needed to make the courthouse secure and handicap accessible to the public. Sheriff Blackfox discussed personnel (Reserve Deputies-Cleet Certified) coverage of manned metal detector at main entrance of the court house. Roll call: Commissioner Kendrick-yes, Commissioner Crowder-yes, Commissioner Cornell-yes. Motion carried.
AGENDA #3-A motion was made by Commissioner Kendrick and seconded by Commissioner Crowder to approve payment of all claims as presented to the Board of Commissioners by the County Clerk-Carol Fortner . Roll call: Commissioner Kendrick-yes, Commissioner Crowder-yes, Commissioner Cornell-yes. Motion carried.
AGENDA #4- PUBLIC COMMENTS/None submitted.
There being no further business to discuss, the meeting was recessed.
