DELAWARE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SPECIAL MEETING
July
13, 2009
The
Board of County Commissioners of Delaware County, Oklahoma, met in Special
Session on July 13, 2009 at 3:30P.M and
recessed at 3:25 PM. Agenda was posted July 9,
2009 at 3:50 P.M. on east entrance door
and the south west entrance.
Members
of the Board present were Chairman-Billy Cornell, Commissioner Dave Kendrick-Member and Commissioner Ken
Crowder –Member. The Board of Delaware
County Commissioners are hereby authorized to take action on the following
items:
AGENDA
#1-A motion was made by Commissioner Crowder and seconded by Commissioner
Kendrick to approve of the agenda as posted.
Roll call: Commissioner Cornell -yes, Commissioner Kendrick-yes. Motion
carried.
AGENDA
#2-A motion was made by Commissioner Crowder and seconded by Commissioner
Kendrick to discuss consideration of recommendation made by the Delaware Co.
Public Facilities Authority to hire Spirit Architecture concerning a
feasibility study on renovation of the old existing Delaware Co. Jail. Estimated cost to be $6000.00 plus expenses.
Roll call: Commissioner Cornell -yes,
Commissioner Kendrick-yes, Commissioner-Crowder. Motion carried.
AGENDA #3-A motion was made by Commissioner Cornell and
seconded by Commissioner Crowder to approve hiring of Spirit Architecture to
perform feasibility study on the old existing jail and approval of encumbrance
of funds in the amount of $9000.00 to cover the cost of the study plus expenses
for crew. Funds to be
paid out of the Use Tax Fund. Roll Call: Commissioner Cornell-Yes, Commissioner Kendrick-no,
Commissioner-Crowder-yes. Motion
Carried 2-1 votes.
AGENDA #4- A motion was made by Commissioner Cornell and seconded by Commissioner Kendrick to open the floor for public comments-no public comments. Roll call: Commissioner Cornell-yes, Commissioner Kendrick-yes. Motion carried.
