DELAWARE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SPECIAL MEETING

August 6, 2009

The Board of County Commissioners of Delaware County, Oklahoma, met in Special Session at the REC office in Vinita, Oklahoma on August 06, 2009 at 10:00 A.M and recessed at 12:10 P.M. Agenda was posted August 04, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. on east entrance door and the south west entrance.

Members of the Board present were Chairman-Billy Cornell, Commissioner Dave Kendrick-Member and Commissioner Ken Crowder –Member. Secretary, Carol Fortner was not present. The Board of Delaware County Commissioners are hereby authorized to take action on the following items:

AGENDA #1-A motion was made by Commissioner Kendrick and seconded by Commissioner Crowder to approve of the agenda as posted. Roll call: Commissioner Cornell -yes, Commissioner Kendrick-yes, Commissioner Crowder-yes. Motion carried.

AGENDA #2-A motion was made by Commissioner Crowder and seconded by Commissioner Kendrick to discuss providing an ambulance service to the south end of Delaware County with possible action to be taken. It was stated there was a need for a speedy solution to the problem. Discussed multi-county emergency services and their funding. No action taken. Roll call: Commissioner Cornell -yes, Commissioner Kendrick-yes, Commissioner-Crowder-yes. Motion carried.

AGENDA #3-A motion was made by Commissioner Kendrick and seconded by Commissioner Crowder to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 12:10 P.M. Roll Call: Commissioner Cornell-yes, Commissioner Kendrick-yes, Commissioner Crowder-yes. Motion carried.
