DELAWARE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SPECIAL MEETING

September 14, 2009

The Board of County Commissioners of Delaware County, Oklahoma, met in Special Session on September 14, 2009 at 1:00 PM and recessed at 2:00 PM.   Agenda was posted September 10, 2009 at  9:00 A.M. on east entrance door and the south west entrance. 

 

Members of the Board present were Chairman-Billy Cornell, Commissioner  Dave Kendrick-Member and Commissioner Ken Crowder –Member.  The Board of Delaware County Commissioners are hereby authorized to take action on the following items:

 

AGENDA #1-A motion was made by Commissioner Kendrick  and seconded by Commissioner Crowder to approve of the agenda as posted.   Roll call: Commissioner Cornell -yes, Commissioner Kendrick-yes. Motion carried.

 

AGENDA #2-A motion was made by Commissioner Crowder and seconded by Commissioner Kendrick to go into executive session concerning case #CIV-09-321-GKF-FHM Joey Lambert, Plaintiff vs Board of Co. Commissioner of Delaware County, Et Al.  Defendants, case # CIV-09-321-GKF-FHM and Shelby Haggard plaintiff vs Board of Co. Commissioner of Delaware County, case # CIV-09-321-GKF-FHM for the purpose of confidential communications between the board of County Commissioners of Delaware County and its attorney concerning the federal lawsuit previously referenced.  Authority :Title 25 Okla. Statutes, Sec. 307 (B) (4).  Roll call: Commissioner Cornell -yes, Commissioner Kendrick-yes, Commissioner-Crowder. Motion carried.

 

AGENDA #3-A motion was made by Commissioner Crowder and seconded by Commissioner Kendrick to return to regular session with no action to be taken on agenda item #2.  Roll call: Commissioner Cornell-yes,  Commissioner Kendrick-yes.  Motion carried.

 

AGENDA #4-A motion was made by Commissioner Kendrick and seconded by Commissioner Crowder to adjourn the meeting.  Roll call: Commissioner Cornell-yes,  Commissioner Kendrick-yes.  Motion carried.
