DELAWARE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SPECIAL MEETING

December 22, 2009

The Board of County Commissioners of Delaware County, Oklahoma, met in Special Session on December 22, 2009 at 4:00 PM and recessed at 5:30 PM. This meeting was held at the West Siloam Springs City Hall.  Agenda was posted December 15, 2009 at  2:30 PM on east entrance door and the south west entrance. 

 

Members of the Board present were Chairman-Billy Cornell, Commissioner  Dave Kendrick-Member.  Commissioner Ken Crowder was absent.  The Board of Delaware County Commissioners are hereby authorized to take action on the following items:

 

AGENDA #1-A motion was made by Commissioner Kendrick  and seconded by Commissioner Cornell to approve of the agenda as posted.   Roll call: Commissioner Cornell -yes, Commissioner Kendrick-yes. Motion carried.

 

AGENDA #2-A motion was made by Commissioner Kendrick  and seconded by Commissioner Cornell to meet with West Siloam Springs City Council and members to discuss Ambulance Service for the Colcord and Moseley School Districts.  Commissioners met with Rick Langkamp of MESTA and Robert Echenrode with REC. Discussion of possible EMS Trust for the southern portion of Delaware County and possible contract ambulance services with MESTA from Mayes County. 

Commissioner Kendrick and Rick Langkamp to meet with Don Murphy of Delaware Co. E-911, Mayor Carr of West Siloam Springs.  Robert Echenrode of REC to meet with Chief Chad Smith to discuss forming an EMS District for Southern Delaware County.  Roll call: Commissioner Cornell -yes, Commissioner Kendrick-yes.  Motion carried.

 

AGENDA #3-A motion was made by Commissioner Kendrick and seconded by Commissioner Cornell to adjourn the meeting.
