SPECIAL MEETING

June 9, 2005

The Board of County Commissioners of Delaware County, Oklahoma, met in Special Session on June 9, 2005 at 9:00 A.M. Agenda was posted June 6, 2005 at 3:26 P.M. on east entrance door. The meeting recessed at 12:30 PM. Meeting reconvened at 2:30 PM.

Members of the Board present were Commissioner Bruce Poindexter-Chairman , Commissioner Howard Payton-Member, and Commissioner Dave Kendrick-Member. The Board of Delaware County Commissioners is hereby authorized to take action on the following items:

A motion was made by Commissioner Payton and seconded by Commissioner Poindexter to approve agenda as posted. Roll call: Commissioner Poindexter-yes, Commissioner Payton-yes, Commissioner Kendrick-yes. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Commissioner Payton and seconded by Commissioner Kendrick to approve Resolution calling for a Special Election for ½ cent Excise Tax for the operation of the Delaware County Sheriff’s Department per recommendation of the Asst. DA. Lelecas and the DA’s office. Roll call: Commissioner Poindexter-yes, Commissioner Payton-yes, Commissioner Kendrick-yes. Motion carried.

There being no further business to discuss, the meeting was recessed.
