DELAWARE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

SPECIAL MEETING

MARCH 18, 2005                       

 

The Board of County Commissioners of Delaware County, Oklahoma, met in Special Session on March 18, 2005 at  10:30 A.M.  Agenda was posted March 15, 2005 at 3:36 P.M. on east entrance door.

Members of the Board present were Commissioner Bruce Poindexter-Chairman , Commissioner Howard Payton-Member, and Commissioner Dave Kendrick-Member.

 

The Board of Delaware County Commissioners is hereby authorized to take action on the following items:

 

A motion was made by Commissioner Kendrick and seconded by Commissioner Payton to approve agenda as posted.  Roll call: Commissioner Poindexter-yes, Commissioner Payton-yes, Commissioner Kendrick-yes. Motion carried.

 

A motion was made by Commissioner Kendrick and seconded by Commissioner Payton  to meet with Representative Doug Cox  and Senator Charles Wyrick who presented  checks to Commissioner Poindexter and Commissioner Peyton for road improvement in Districts 1 and 2.  The amount of the check to Commissioner Poindexter was $2000 (for a road in Bernice) and the amount of the check to Commissioner Payton was $30,500 for Road 340.  The total amount of the two checks was $32,500.  The projects were funded by GGEDA. 

 

No New Business.

 

No Old Business.   

 

There being no further business to discuss, the meeting was recessed.
