 Agenda was posted June 25, 2009 at 1:50 PM on  southeast and south entrance doors.

 

 The Delaware County Excise Board met in Regular session on June 30, 2009 at 1:30 P.M. with the following members present: Jacqueline Wright-Chairwoman, Member-Don Youngblood and Member-Art Shackelford.  Jacqueline Wright-Chairwoman called the Meeting to order and the following business was transacted.

 

Motion was made by Art Shackelford and seconded by Don Youngblood to approve the Agenda as posted dated June 30th, 2009.  All voted aye. Motion carried.

 

Motion was made by Art Shackelford and seconded by Don Youngblood to approve the minutes of regular meeting dated June 2nd, 2009.   All voted aye.  Motion carried.

 

Motion was made by Art Shackelford and seconded by Don Youngblood to approve of minutes of the Board of Equalization FY Closeout meeting of 05-27-09.  All voted aye.  Motion carried

 

The motion to approve Cash Estimate of Needs and Request for Appropriations for Delaware Co. was not needed at this time.

 

A motion was made by Art Shackelford and seconded by Don Youngblood to approve Estimate of Needs and request for temporary appropriations and regular appropriations for cities, towns and schools as follows: Delaware Co.; Kenwood Schs.; Oaks Mission Schs.; Grove Public Schs.; Jay Public Schs.; Colcord Schos.; Moseley Schs.; Leach schs.; Town of Kansas; Town of Bernice; Co. health Dept.; Cleora Schs.; Cleora EMS; and Grove EMS. All voted aye.  Motion carried

 

A motion was made by Art Shackelford and  seconded by Don Youngblood to review transfer of appropriations as follows:

 

06-08-09                       FROM T-2-Highway Cash M&O into T-1-B Part time Salary $5000.00

06-08-09                       FROM 20-D M&O $44,000.00 into 20-H Retirement-$43,000.00 and into 20-I Comm. Cntr. $1,000.00. Also FROM 20-H Retirement $4594.92 into 8-A Pers. Serv. $2994.92 and 08-D M&O $1600.00.

06-15-09                       FROM SSF-1 $8,300.00 INTO SSF-2 M&0.

06-22-09                       FROM 09-B PART TIME PERS. SERV. $270.00 AND FROM 09-D M&O $184.00 AND FROM 09-E CO $346.00 FOR A TOTAL OF $700.00.

06-22-09                       FROM T-2 HIGHWAY CASH $2000.00 INTO 4T4-CN-OAKS EAST II $2000.00.

All voted aye. Motion carried.

 

A motion was made by Art Shackelford and seconded by Don Youngblood to approve of FY 2009-2010 Delaware Co. Fire Depts. Budget.  All voted aye. Motion carried.

 

A motion was made by Art Shackelford and seconded by Don Youngblood to review Co. Assessor’s Valuation Budget for FY 2009-2010.  All voted aye. Motion carried.

 

 

A motion was made by Art Shackelford and seconded by Don Youngblood to review the Co. Treasurer’s Resale Budget for FY 2009-2010.  All voted aye. Motion carried.

 

A motion was made by Art Shackelford and seconded by Don Youngblood to meet with all Co. Officers and review the Co. Budget for FY 2009-2010 as submitted.  Discussion also took place in regards to researching the possibility of forming a “Budget Board” in Delaware Co.   All voted aye. Motion carried for discussion only.

 

New Business-No new business was presented.
