 Agenda was posted  June 24, 2010 at 3:57 PM on  east  entrance door.

 

 The Delaware County Excise Board met in Regular Session on June 30, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. with the following members present: Member-Don Youngblood, Member-Art Shackelford, and Chairwoman Jacqueline Wright.  Chairwoman Jacqueline Wright called the Meeting to order and the following business was transacted.

 

Motion was made by Art Shackelford and seconded by Don Youngblood to approve the Agenda as posted dated June 30, 2010.  All voted aye.  Motion carried.

 

Motion was made by Art Shackelford and seconded by Don Youngblood to approve minutes dated June 8th, 2010.  All voted aye.  Motion carried.

 

Motion was made by Art Shackelford and seconded by Don Youngblood to approve minutes for the Board of Equalization FY closeout meeting dated 05-26-10. Motion carried.

 

Motion was made by Art Shackelford and seconded by Don Youngblood to review Estimate of Needs for Delaware Co.  There were none to review.  Motion carried.

 

Motion was  made by Don Youngblood and seconded by Art Shackelford to approve of estimate of needs and temporary requests for appropriations for the following cities, towns and schools: Delaware Co. Public Schs.; Board of Health, City of Jay, Cleora Emergency Medical Services, and Town of Bernice.  Motion carried.

 

Motion was made by Don Youngblood and seconded by Art Shackelford to review transfers of appropriations as follows:  June 7th, 2010 for the Co. Assessor’s office.

From 16-E (CO) $1800.00 and from 16-C (travel) $4000.00 into 16-A (pers. Serv.) $5,800.00

June 14, 2010 for Highway Cash

From 200T (donation acct) $2768.31 into T-2 (Highway cash) $2768.31

June 28, 2010 for County General

From 20-D (Co. Gen.) $31,896.34 and from 08-A (Comm. Pers. Serv.) $1259.02 into 08-C (travel) $1259.02 and into 20-J (health insurance) $24,202.50 and into 20-H (retirement) $7693.84 for a total of $33,155.36.  Motion carried.

 

Motion was made by Don Youngblood and seconded by Art Shackelford to approve of the FY 2010-2011 Delaware Co. Fire Depts. Budget.  Motion carried.

 

Motion was made by Art Shackelford and seconded by Don Youngblood to review the Delaware Co. Assessor’s Office Visual Inspection/Revaluation Budget for FY 2010-2011.  Motion carried.

 

Motion was made by Don Youngblood and seconded by Art Shackelford to review the Co. Treasurer’s Resale Budget for FY 2010-2011.  Motion carried.

 

 

Motion was made by Art Shackelford and seconded by Don Youngblood to meet with all County Officers and review the County Budgets for FY 2010-2011.  Motion carried.

 

New business: Reminder that the next Excise Board meeting is next Tuesday the 6th of July at 11:00 AM.

 

There being no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 8:40AM.
