TAX CORRECTION REGULAR MEETING

June 30, 2009

The Delaware County Board of Tax Corrections met in Regular session on June 30, 2009 at 2:30 P.M. with the following members present: Chairwoman of the Excise Board-Jacqueline Wright, County Assessor-Leon Hurt and Secretary County Clerk - Carol Fortner. Chairman of the County Commissioners-Billy Cornell was absent. The Chairwoman of the Excise Board-Jacqueline Wright called the Meeting to order and the following business was transacted. Board was recessed at 2:39 PM.

Agenda was posted June 25, 2009 at 1:30 P.M. on east entrance door and the south west entrance.

AGENDA #1-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jackie Wright to approve of the agenda as posted. Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes, Leon Hurt-Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

AGENDA #2-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jackie Wright to approve of minutes of the regular meeting of June 2, 2009. Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes, Leon Hurt-Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

AGENDA #3-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jackie Wright to approve of Tax Roll Corrections and Complaints of Erroneous Assessments as follows:

750. Pentech Financial-Personal or Real Property is assessed to any person not owning the same.-7068

751. Universal Images-Property had no taxable situs in county, did not exist or was placed wrong.-7069

752. Geanie Pike-The same property was assessed more than once the same year.-7070

753. William Phillps- Personal or Real Property is assessed to any person not owning the same.-7071

754. Livesay, Mary V. Trust-Error in transcribing from Co. Assessors Survey Record to Assessment Rolls.-7072

755. Gillam, Donald- The same property was assessed more than once the same year.-7073

756. Gillam, Donald- The same property was assessed more than once the same year.-7074

757. Jackson, Charles Trust- Error in transcribing from Co. Assessors Survey Record to Assessment Rolls.-7075

758. Owens Mars- Property had no taxable situs in county, did not exist or was placed wrong.-7076

Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes, Leon Hurt-Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

AGENDA #4-A motion was made by Jackie Wright and seconded by Leon Hurt to review any new business. No new business submitted. Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes, Leon Hurt-Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

There being no further business, the Meeting adjourned.
