TAX CORRECTION SPECIAL MEETING

OCTOBER 6, 2009

The Delaware County Board of Tax Corrections met in Regular session on October 6, 2009 at 9:00 A.M. with the following members present: Chairwoman of the Excise Board-Jacqueline Wright, County Assessor Leon Hurt. Chairman of the County Commissioners-Billy Cornell was absent. The Chairwoman of the Excise Board-Jacqueline Wright called the Meeting to order and the following business was transacted. Board was recessed at 9:15 AM.

Agenda was posted October 2, 2009 at 8:52 A.M. on east entrance door and the south west entrance.

AGENDA #1-A motion was made by Jacqueline Wright and seconded by Leon Hurt to approve of the agenda as posted. Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes, Leon Hurt-Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

AGENDA #2-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jacqueline Wright to correct of minutes of the regular meeting of September 8, 2009 to read “Board was recessed at 4:30 PM”. Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes, Leon Hurt-Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

AGENDA #3-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jackie Wright to approve of Tax Roll Corrections and Complaints of Erroneous Assessments for the month of October 2009 as follows:

7095-Goins, Pat-Valuations entered are at variance with valuations equalized.

7098-Fisher, Frances-Lawful exemption deductions have not been taken into account.

Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes, Leon Hurt-Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

AGENDA #4-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jackie Wright to review any new business. No new business submitted. Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes, Leon Hurt-Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

There being no further business, the Meeting adjourned.
