TAX CORRECTION MEETING

JANUARY 5TH, 2010

The Delaware County Board of Tax Corrections met in Regular session on January 5, 2010 at 9:00 A.M. with the following members present: Chairwoman of the Excise Board-Jacqueline Wright, Leon Hurt- County Assessor . Chairman of the County Commissioners-Billy Cornell was absent. The Chairwoman of the Excise Board-Jacqueline Wright called the Meeting to order and the following business was transacted. Board was recessed at 9:15AM.

Agenda was posted December 31, 2009 at 9:54 A.M. on east entrance door and the south west entrance.

AGENDA #1-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jacqueline Wright to approve of the agenda as posted. Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes, Leon Hurt-Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

AGENDA #2-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jacqueline Wright to approve of minutes of the regular meeting of December 8, 2009. Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes, Leon Hurt-Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

AGENDA #3-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jacqueline Wright to approve of Tax Roll Corrections and Complaints of Erroneous Assessments for the month of December 2009 as follows:

7220-Eagon, Frances-The same property was assessed more than once the same year.

7221-Sharp, Martin-Lawful exemption deductions have not been taken into account.

7222-Oaks Indian Mission, Inc.-Property exempt from taxation was assessed.

7223-Sission, David-Personal or real property is assessed to any person, etc., not owning the same.

7224-Butler, Kreg-Property, real or personal, was assessed though not taxable for such year.

7225-Gault, Matthew-Error in transcribing from Co. Assessors Survey Record to Assessment Rolls.

7226-Foreman, Andy- Property exempt from taxation was assessed.

7227-Nugen Family Rev. Trust- Lawful exemption deductions have not been taken into account.

7228-Island Developers, LLC.- Error in transcribing from Co. Assessors Survey Record to Assessment Rolls.

7229- Island Developers, LLC.- Error in transcribing from Co. Assessors Survey Record to Assessment Rolls.

7230- Island Developers, LLC.- Error in transcribing from Co. Assessors Survey Record to Assessment Rolls.

7231-Lisa’s- Personal or real property is assessed to any person, etc., not owning the same.

7232-Lee, Johnnie- Error in transcribing from Co. Assessors Survey Record to Assessment Rolls.

7233-Pruitt, Herb- Lawful exemption deductions have not been taken into account.

7234- Pruitt, Herb- Lawful exemption deductions have not been taken into account.

7235- Pruitt, Herb- Lawful exemption deductions have not been taken into account.

7236-Graves, Ronnie- Personal or real property is assessed to any person, etc., not owning the same.

7237-Conway, Heather- Personal or real property is assessed to any person, etc., not owning the same.

7238-Conway, Ronnie- Personal or real property is assessed to any person, etc., not owning the same.

Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes, Leon Hurt-Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

AGENDA #4-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jackie Wright to review any new business. No new business submitted. Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes, Leon Hurt-Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

There being no further business, the Meeting adjourned.
