TAX  CORRECTION MEETING

                                                                                                                               

MARCH 2ND, 2010

 

           The Delaware County Board of Tax Corrections met in Regular session on  March 2, 2010 at  9:05 A.M. with the following members present:  Chairwoman of the Excise Board-Jacqueline Wright,  Leon Hurt-County Assessor .  Chairman of the County Commissioners-Billy Cornell was absent.  The Chairwoman of the Excise Board-Jacqueline Wright called the Meeting to order and the following business was transacted. Board was recessed at 9:15AM.

 

Agenda was posted February 25, 2010 at 1:26 P.M. on east entrance door and the south west entrance. 

 

AGENDA #1-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jacqueline Wright to approve of the agenda as posted.   Roll call:  Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes,  Leon Hurt-Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

 

AGENDA #2-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jacqueline Wright to approve of minutes of the regular meeting of  February 2nd, 2010.  Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes,  Leon Hurt-Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

 

AGENDA #3-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jacqueline Wright to approve of Tax Roll Corrections  and Complaints of Erroneous Assessments for the month of February 2010 as follows:

 

7244                      Albright, Jerry-Personal or real property is assessed to any person, etc., no owning the same.

7248                      Holcomb, Edgar- Personal or real property is assessed to any person, etc., no owning the same.

7249                      Tulley, Danelle-Error in transcribing from Co. Assessor’s survey record to assessment rolls.

7250                      Davis, Norman- Error in transcribing from Co. Assessor’s survey record to assessment rolls.

7251                      Burkett, Daniel-Personal or real property is assessed to any person etc., not owning the same.

7252                      Buford, Joseph- Personal or real property is assessed to any person etc., not owning the same.

7253                      Davis, Linda- Personal or real property is assessed to any person etc., not owning the same.

7254                      Bryant, James-Property, real or personal was assessed though not taxable for such year.

7255                      Campbell, Barry-The property was assessed more than once the same year.

7256                      Campbell, Barry-The property was assessed more than once the same year.

7257                      Campbell, Barry-The property was assessed more than once the same year.

7258                      Bedford, A. S.- Property, real or personal was assessed though not taxable for such year.

Roll call:  Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes, Wayne Tuder-1st Dep. Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

 

AGENDA #4-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jackie Wright  to review any new business.  No new business submitted.  Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes, Leon Hurt- Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

 

There being no further business, the Meeting adjourned.
