TAX CORRECTION MEETING

MAY 4, 2010

The Delaware County Board of Tax Corrections met in Regular session on May 4, 2010 at 9:00 A.M. with the following members present: Chairwoman of the Excise Board-Jacqueline Wright, Leon Hurt-County Assessor . Chairman of the County Commissioners-Ken Crowder was absent. The Chairwoman of the Excise Board-Jacqueline Wright called the Meeting to order and the following business was transacted. Board was recessed at 9:15AM.

Agenda was posted April 30, 2010 at 10:50 A.M. on east entrance door and the south west entrance.

AGENDA #1-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jacqueline Wright to approve of the agenda as posted. Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes, Leon Hurt-Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

AGENDA #2-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jacqueline Wright to approve of minutes of the regular meeting of March 2nd, 2010. Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes, Leon Hurt-Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

AGENDA #3-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jacqueline Wright to approve of Tax Roll Corrections and Complaints of Erroneous Assessments for the month of March 2010 as follows:

7268 Peterson, Ind.-Personal or real property is assessed to any person, etc. not owning the same.

7269 Roberts, Bardley-The same property was assessed more than once the same year.

7270 Byus, Roy-mpairments by fire, flood, etc., before May 1^st were not deducted.

7271 Sheppard, Juanita- Personal or real property is assessed to any person, etc. not owning the same.

7272 Shelton, David- Personal or real property is assessed to any person, etc. not owning the same.

7273 Letona, Michelle- Personal or real property is assessed to any person, etc. not owning the same.

7274 Clark, Dwayne- The same property was assessed more than once the same year.

7275 Kelly, James- Error in transcribing from Co. Assessor’s survey record to assessment rolls.

7276 Mart, Joseph- Error in transcribing from Co. Assessor’s survey record to assessment rolls.

Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes, Leon Hurt-Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

AGENDA #4-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jackie Wright to review any new business. No new business submitted. Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes, Leon Hurt- Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

There being no further business, the Meeting adjourned.
