TAX  CORRECTION MEETING

                                                                                                                                  

JUNE 8, 2010

 

           The Delaware County Board of Tax Corrections met in Regular session on  June 8, 2010 at  9:00 A.M. with the following members present:  Chairwoman of the Excise Board-Jacqueline Wright,  Leon Hurt-County Assessor .  Chairman of the County Commissioners-Ken Crowder was absent.  The Chairwoman of the Excise Board-Jacqueline Wright called the Meeting to order and the following business was transacted. Board was recessed at 9:15AM.

 

Agenda was posted June 3, 2010 at 12:30 P.M. on east entrance door and the south west entrance. 

 

AGENDA #1-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jacqueline Wright to approve of the agenda as posted.   Roll call:  Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes,  Leon Hurt-Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

 

AGENDA #2-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jacqueline Wright to approve of minutes of the regular meeting of  May 4th, 2010.  Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes,  Leon Hurt-Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

 

AGENDA #3-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jacqueline Wright to approve of Tax Roll Corrections  and Complaints of Erroneous Assessments for the month of May 2010 as follows:

 

7279               Doddco Construction LLC-Property had no taxable situs in County, did not exist or was placed wrong.

7280        Farmer’s Market- Property had no taxable situs in County, did not exist or was placed wrong.

7281        Huffman, Glen-Error in transcribing from Co. Assessor’s survey record to assessment rolls.

7282               Taylor, Samuel-Personal or Real property is assessed to any person, etc., not owning the same.

7283               Masters, Tony-Error in transcribing from Co. Assessor’s survey record to assessment rolls.

7284               Masters, Tony-Error in transcribing from Co. Assessor’s survey record to assessment rolls.

 

Roll call:  Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes,  Leon Hurt-Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

 

AGENDA #4-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jackie Wright  to review any new business.  No new business submitted.  Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes, Leon Hurt- Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

 

There being no further business, the Meeting adjourned.
