SPECIAL TAX CORRECTION MEETING

January 4, 2011

The Delaware County Board of Tax Corrections met in regular session on January 21, 2011 at 9:10 A.M. with the following members present: Chairwoman of the Excise Board-Jacqueline Wright, Leon Hurt-County Assessor . Chairman of the County Commissioners-Doug Smith was absent. The Chairwoman of the Excise Board-Jacqueline Wright called the Meeting to order and the following business was transacted. Board was recessed at 9:30 AM.

Agenda was posted December 30, 2010 at 3:40 P.M. on east entrance door and the south west entrance.

AGENDA #1-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jacqueline Wright to approve of the agenda as posted. Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes, Leon Hurt-Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

AGENDA #2-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jacqueline Wright to approve of minutes of the regular meeting of December 7, 2010. Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes, Leon Hurt-Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

AGENDA #3-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jacqueline Wright to approve of Tax Roll Corrections and Complaints of Erroneous Assessments for the month of December 2010 as follows:

7367 Murphy, Lester-Lawful exemption deductions have not been taken into account.

7368 Warren, Andrew-The same property was assessed more than once the same year.

7369 Precision Machine & Mfg.-Error in transcribing from Co. Assessor’s survey record to assessment rolls.

7370 Damer, Stephen-Lands or lots have been erroneously described.

7371 Potter, Robert-Error in transcribing from Co. Assessor’s survey record to assessment rolls.

7372 Frost, Dale- Error in transcribing from Co. Assessor’s survey record to assessment rolls.

7373 Frost, Cody- Error in transcribing from Co. Assessor’s survey record to assessment rolls.

7374 Davis, Christine-Personal or Real property is assessed to any person not owning the same.

7375 Estes, Ronald-Lawful exemption deductions have not been taken into account.

7376 Estes, Ronald-Lawful exemption deductions have not been taken into account.

7377 Estes, Ronald-Lawful exemption deductions have not been taken into account.

7378 Oaks Indian Mission- Lawful exemption deductions have not been taken into account.

7379 Alsenz, Bobbie- Personal or Real property is assessed to any person not owning the same.

7380 Carter, Robert- Personal or Real property is assessed to any person not owning the same.

7381 Wintrode, Richard- Lawful exemption deductions have not been taken into account.

7382 GE Credit Corp. of TN-Property, real or personal was assessed though not taxable for such year.

7383 Young, Jeremy- The same property was assessed more than once the same year.

7384 Town of Bernice-Property exempt from taxation was assessed.

7385 Medders, Darrell- Error in transcribing from Co. Assessor’s survey record to assessment rolls.

7386 Cook, Roger- Lawful exemption deductions have not been taken into account.

7387 Duncan, Gary-Erroneous tax extended on the tax rolls with correct valuation.

Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes, Leon Hurt-Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

AGENDA #4-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jackie Wright to review any new business. No new business submitted. Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes, Leon Hurt- Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

There being no further business, the Meeting adjourned.
