TAX  CORRECTION MEETING

                                                                     

March 8, 2011

 

       

   The Delaware County Board of Tax Corrections met in regular session on  March 8, 2011 at 9:03 A.M. with the following members present:  Chairwoman of the Excise Board-Jacqueline Wright, Leon Hurt-County Assessor.  Chairman of the County Commissioners-Doug Smith was absent.  The Chairwoman of the Excise Board-Jacqueline Wright called the Meeting to order and the following business was transacted. Board was recessed at 9:13 AM.

 

Agenda was posted  January 31, 2011 at 3:15 P.M. on east entrance door and the south west entrance. 

 

AGENDA #1-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jacqueline Wright to approve of the agenda as posted.   Roll call:  Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes,  Leon Hurt- Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

 

AGENDA #2-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jacqueline Wright to approve of minutes of the regular meeting of  February 8, 2011.  Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes,  Leon Hurt- Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

 

AGENDA #3-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jacqueline Wright to approve of Tax Roll Corrections  and Complaints of Erroneous Assessments for the month of February 2011 as follows:

7408                      Cox, James-Valuations entered are at variance with valuations equalized.

7409                      Rutherford, Louis-Personal or real property is assessed to any person not owning the same.

7410                      Rutherford, Louis-Personal or real property is assessed to any person not owning the same.

7411                      Wells, Lisa-Personal or real property is assessed to any person not owning the same.

7412                      Vicory, Michael-The same property was assessed more than once the same year.

7413                      Hurley, Steven-Personal or real property is assessed to any person not owning the same.

7414                      Cate, Ronald-Lawful exemption deductions have not been taken into account.

7415                      Denny, Travis-The same property was assessed more than once the same year.

7416                      Potashner, Nanette-Lawful exemption deductions have not been taken into account.

7417                      Potashner, Nanette-Lawful exemption deductions have not been taken into account.

7418                      Potashner, Nanette-Lawful exemption deductions have not been taken into account.

7419                      Roberts, Minuard-Error in transcribing from Co. Assessor’s survey record to assessment rolls.

7420                      McQuoid, John- Error in transcribing from Co. Assessor’s survey record to assessment rolls.

7421                      Meng, Marc-Error in transcribing from Co. Assessor’s survey record to assessment rolls.

7422                      Duffield, Jesse-Impairments by fire, flood, etc. before May 1st were not deducted.

7423                      Lee, Jerry-Error in transcribing from Co. Assessor’s survey record to assessment rolls.

Roll call:  Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes,  Leon Hurt- Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

 

AGENDA #4-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jackie Wright  to review any new business.  No new business submitted.  Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman Jackie Wright –yes, Leon Hurt- Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

 

There being no further business, the Meeting adjourned.
