TAX CORRECTION MEETING

 

MAY 3, 2011

 

 

The Delaware County Board of Tax Corrections met in regular session on May 3, 2011 at 9:10 A.M. with the following members present:  Leon Hurt-County Assessor and County Excise Board-Jacqueline Wright-Chairwoman.  Chairman of the County Commissioners-Doug Smith was absent.  Excise Board Chairwoman-Jacqueline Wright called the Meeting to order and the following business was transacted. Board was recessed at 9:13 AM.

 

Agenda was posted April 28, 2011 at 2:24 P.M. on east entrance door and the south west entrance.

 

AGENDA #1-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jackie Wright to approve of the May 3, 2011 agenda as posted.   Roll call:  Excise Board Chairwoman-Jacqueline Wright–yes,  Leon Hurt- Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

 

AGENDA #2-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jackie Wright to approve of minutes of the regular meeting of April 5th, 2011.  Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman-Jacqueline Wright–yes,  Leon Hurt- Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

 

AGENDA #3-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jackie Wright to approve of Tax Roll Corrections  and Complaints of Erroneous Assessments for the month of April 2011 as follows:

 

7430       Larmon, Forrest-Personal or Real is assessed to any person not owning the same.

7431       Larmon, Forrest-Personal or Real is assessed to any person not owning the same.

7432       Larmon, Forrest-Personal or Real is assessed to any person not owning the same.

7433       Larmon, Forrest-Personal or Real is assessed to any person not owning the same.

7434       Clark, Dwayne-Personal or Real is assessed to any person not owning the same.

7435       Mike’s Appliance-Error in transcribing from Co. Assessor’s survey record to assessment rolls.

7436       Eagle Picher Horizon Batteries-Property, real or personal was assessed though not taxable for such year.

 

Roll call:  Excise Board Chairwoman-Jacqueline Wright–yes,  Leon Hurt- Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

 

AGENDA #4-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jackie Wright to review any new business.  No new business submitted.  Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman-Jacqueline Wright–yes, Leon Hurt- Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

 

There being no further business, the Meeting adjourned.
