TAX CORRECTIONS SPECIAL MEETING

SEPTEMBER 8, 2011

The Delaware County Board of Tax Corrections met in Special session on September 8, 2011 at 8:30 A.M. with the following members present: Leon Hurt-County Assessor, County Excise Board-Jacqueline Wright-Chairwoman and Carol Fortner-Secretary. Chairman of the County Commissioners-Doug Smith was absent. Excise Board Chairwoman-Jacqueline Wright called the Meeting to order and the following business was transacted. Board was recessed at 9:10 A.M.

Agenda was posted September 1, 2011 at 11:45 A.M. on east entrance door and the south west entrance.

AGENDA #1-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jackie Wright to approve of the September 8, 2011 agenda as posted. Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman-Jacqueline Wright–yes, Leon Hurt-Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

AGENDA #2-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jackie Wright to approve of minutes of the regular meeting of August 2nd, 2011. Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman-Jacqueline Wright–yes, Leon Hurt- Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

AGENDA #3-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jackie Wright to approve of Tax Roll Corrections and Complaints of Erroneous Assessments for the month of September 2011 as follows:

7472 Davis, Jared- Personal or Real is assessed to any person not owning the same.

7473 Baker, Robert- Property, real or personal was assessed though not taxable for such year.

7474 Cearley, Evylean- Personal or Real is assessed to any person not owning the same.

7475 Diamond S Farms- Personal or Real is assessed to any person not owning the same.

7476 Hill, Doyle Dean- Personal or Real is assessed to any person not owning the same.

7477 Hill, Doyle Dean- Personal or Real is assessed to any person not owning the same.

7478 Hill, Doyle Dean-Personal or Real is assessed to any person not owning the same.

7479 Harrington, Cody-Property had no taxable situs in County, did not exist or was placed wrong.

7480 Ledbetter Electric, Inc.- Personal or Real is assessed to any person not owning the same.

7481 Grand Lake Plumbing- Property had no taxable situs in County, did not exist or was placed wrong .

Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman-Jacqueline Wright–yes, Leon Hurt- Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

AGENDA #4-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jackie Wright to review any new business. No new business. Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman-Jacqueline Wright–yes, Leon Hurt-Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

AGENDA #5-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jacqueline Wright to open the floor to Citizen’s Participation or Public Comments. No comments presented. Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman-Jacqueline Wright–yes, Leon Hurt-Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

AGENDA #6-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jacqueline Wright to adjourn the meeting. There being no further business, the Meeting adjourned at 9:10 AM. Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman-Jacqueline Wright–yes, Leon Hurt-Assessor-yes. Motion carried.
