TAX CORRECTIONS REGULAR MEETING

OCTOBER 4, 2011

The Delaware County Board of Tax Corrections met in Regular Session on October 4, 2011 at 9:58 A.M. with the following members present: Leon Hurt-County Assessor, County Excise Board-Jacqueline Wright-Chairwoman and Carol Fortner-Secretary. Chairman of the County Commissioners-Doug Smith was absent. Excise Board Chairwoman-Jacqueline Wright called the Meeting to order and the following business was transacted. Board was recessed at 9:58 A.M.

Agenda was posted September 26, 2011 at 10:43 A.M. on east entrance door and the south west entrance.

AGENDA #1-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jackie Wright to approve of the October 4, 2011 agenda as posted. Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman-Jacqueline Wright–yes, Leon Hurt-Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

AGENDA #2-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jackie Wright to approve of minutes of the regular meeting of September 8, 2011. Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman-Jacqueline Wright–yes, Leon Hurt- Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

AGENDA #3-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jackie Wright to approve of Tax Roll Corrections and Complaints of Erroneous Assessments for the month of October 2011 as follows:

7482 Pogue, Robert-The same property was assessed more then once the same year.

7483 Schooler, Derrell-Impairments by fire, flood etc., before May 1^st were not included.

Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman-Jacqueline Wright–yes, Leon Hurt- Co. Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

AGENDA #4-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jackie Wright to review any new business. No new business. Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman-Jacqueline Wright–yes, Leon Hurt-Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

AGENDA #5-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jacqueline Wright to open the floor to Citizen’s Participation or Public Comments. No comments presented. Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman-Jacqueline Wright–yes, Leon Hurt-Assessor-yes. Motion carried.

AGENDA #6-A motion was made by Leon Hurt and seconded by Jacqueline Wright to adjourn the meeting. There being no further business, the Meeting adjourned at 10:02 AM. Roll call: Excise Board Chairwoman-Jacqueline Wright–yes, Leon Hurt-Assessor-yes. Motion carried.
